Bank House Farm cottages are two immaculate family run holiday homes, Bramble Cottage and Acorn Cottage. Our two cottages are in a simply glorious setting in Ennerdale, Lake District. Located on a quiet lane off an even quieter road, you couldn’t wish for a more peaceful setting. The owners of Acorn Cottage have recently refurbished the interior, taking care to maintain its original charming character, whilst offering comfortable, modern accommodation. Within a 20 minute walk of the cottage you can be at the shore of Ennerdale Water, where there is an incredible inspiring view of the wild Ennerdale Valley. Our cottages are pet-friendly with log burners, stunning views, pubs nearby and walks from the door.

Set in spectacular location surrounded by the stunning scenery of Ennerdale. Acorn cottage and Bramble cottage are a well presented former farm workers cottages. Standing within 30 acres of farmland in the uncommercialished western area of the Lake District National Park. The cottage is within walking distance of Ennerdale Bridge Village, with ample opportunities to walk, cycle, climb or go horse riding. The fully enclosed gardens are perfect for families with children and dogs.
Acorn cottage and Bramble cottage are comfortably furnished and equipped with a log burner, making both cottages superb all year round base for a holiday in this beautiful area.
Ennerdale water is just two miles away and the Cumbrian coast is ten miles. Ennerdale bridge is just short of a mile away and has a village shop, two pubs and a cafe.
There are plenty of family friendly attractions including the Lake District wildlife park near Bassenthwaites, an aquarium in Maryport. Go Ape at Whinlatter, and Ravenglass miniatures railway in Eskdale.

Your happiness is our priority!We can arrange for your pack lunches to be ready for you at your request. We also offer evening meals When pre booked. We can book tables at the locals pubs in the Ennerdale village.
FOR FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN
For families with young children we can provided travel cot, high chair and stair gate so you don’t have to bring everything with you.
DOG FRIENDLY
We’re happy for our guests to bring their dogs along. The fully enclosed gardens are perfect for your dogs. Maximum of 2 dogs per cottage at an additional cost. Your happiness is our priority!

Designed with your convenience in mind, our Acorn cottage Double Room provides you with suitable features and amenities for an enjoyable stay at Bank House Farm cottages. Room Features: - 1 Double size Bedroom. 1 Bathroom.
With a little twist you will have your cooked Cumbrian breakfast in the main house.

We are dog friendly, with a maximum of 2 dogs per cottage, at an additional cost of £5 per dog per night.
We are more than happy to offer our additional service of packed lunches and evening meals. We would require notification of this upon booking.
Check in at 2pm, Check out at 10am

BRAMBLE COTTAGE B&B
Sleeps up to 4 people
Our Bramble Cottage provides guests with the comfort and flexibility they need. This is an ideal option for friends or smaller families. Room Features: - 1 Double -size Bedroom with an En-suite bathroom, 1 twin bedroom with an En-suite bathroom.
Your Cumbrian cooked breakfast will be served in the main cottage next door.
